Is JobPilot AI really free?
Yes. Autofill, application tracking and basic AI features are free forever. Pro adds unlimited AI cover letters and field fills for power users. You can also bring your own API key (OpenAI, Anthropic or Google) for unlimited AI on the free plan.
Where is my data stored?
In your browser, in Chrome's built-in storage (chrome.storage.sync), which syncs across your Chrome devices. If you sign in with Google, a backup goes to your own Google Drive. Usage analytics go to PostHog; your profile, CV and answers do not.
Do I need an OpenAI API key?
No. Free users get 3 AI cover letters and 10 AI field fills a month without a key. Pro users get unlimited. For unlimited AI on the free plan, add your own key from OpenAI, Anthropic or Google in the extension settings.
What ATS platforms does it support?
